chartered sightseeing cab≪3 hours course≫Usuki’s best spots! Round Trip Sightseeing Taxi
Usuki City is located on the sea side of "Oita Prefecture" in the upper right of Kyushu, at the right end (southeast), surrounded by sea and mountains with a castle town at its center.
The town is located near the "sea" and "mountains," and is centered on the ruins of Usuki Castle, with its castle town atmosphere and many shrines and temples representing Japan. The town is packed with good things.
A round-trip cab is a convenient way to get around Usuki, which is full of such good points! In this plan, you can tour around the main sightseeing spots in Usuki.
The 3-hour course includes the 2-hour course and the Kazaren Cave.

Recommendations for this Plan
National Treasure Usuki Stone Buddha
The Usuki Sekibutsu (Cliff Buddha), represented by the Koen Sekibutsu Dainichi Nyorai statue, is said to have been carved between the late Heian period and the Kamakura period.
In 1995, it was designated as a National Treasure, the first Buddha sculpture on a cliff in Japan and the first sculpture in Kyushu.
Two Throne Historical Paths
Nioza, located at the knee of Usuki Castle, is a tuff hill formed by hardened volcanic ash from Mt. Aso, and roads were cut through the rocks here and there. The narrow alleys everywhere still retain the castle town's unique atmosphere, with high stone walls, massive tiled roofs, whitewashed buildings, and many temples stretching long along the sloping streets.
It is designated as a national natural monument.
Because it is a closed-type limestone cave with a depth of approximately 500 meters, outside air does not penetrate the cave, and it does not weather and continues to emit an almost pure-white luster. The inside of the cave is maintained at a constant temperature, making it a natural air conditioner that is cool in summer and warm in winter.
Inaba family's villa
The Inaba family's residence was built in 1902 as a home for the Inaba family, the former feudal lord of Usuki, who moved to Tokyo after the establishment of the feudal domain.
The entrance hall with a ceremonial platform and the shoin-style inner room are of high quality and have been registered as a Tangible Cultural Property of Japan.
