Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of nature, including Mt. Io-zan, an active volcano with white smoke, the rocky gravel zone called Kitasenrihama, where there are few plants and trees due to the volcano, the Bogatatsuru Marsh, where rich grasses and flowers grow, and the Tadewara Marsh, a forest composed of many bushes, tall trees, and mosses.
Lunch is available at Hokkein Onsen Sanso, which is celebrating its 140th anniversary (additional fee required). Hot spring bathing is also available upon request.
