This is an experience to make an original size "Wabana-Jtwelve petals-shallow bowl" by doing the same authentic work as craftsmen, from molding to attaching the base.
Katauti" is a ceramic technique in which raw, dried clay is deformed by covering it with a mold to create non-circular vessels such as rim flower dishes and octagonal bowls.
Size is 18.5 cm in diameter
"Wabana-Jtwelve petals-shallow bowl"
This shallow bowl is designed to look like a row of twelve petals.
The gently curved bowl is halfway deep between a plate and a bowl, and is just the right size to hold side dishes, main dishes, desserts, bread, fruit, etc. for one person.
The line extending from the center of the vessel to the rim allows the food to float on the surface of the vessel, draining off just enough liquid to allow the food to be served.
Fluctuating like the beauty of natural formations, the rounded petal rim casts shadows on the table and creates a beautiful expression.
This dishware complements food with its calm and gorgeous appearance.

Authentic Usuki Pottery Molding Experience
(90 minutes)(1) The clay is created by a technique called katauchi (mold casting), in which a clay slab is hammered into a plaster mold.
(2) The back is elevated using an electric potter's wheel. This part is difficult!
Finally, a compressor is used to remove the vessel from the mold to complete the process.

- This plan is "request reception".
Please note that the reservation is not completed immediately after application.
We will confirm whether it is acceptable and will contact you if you can make a reservation.
If you do not receive a message within 3 days of your application, or if the date of use is approaching, please contact Tourism Sales Systems, although we apologize for the inconvenience.
- Please wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty as you will be handling clay.
Also, please bring your own towel.
Please take off your shoes and wear slippers for the experience. Please understand this in advance. - It takes about one month to complete. If you wish to have your work delivered to your home, shipping fees will be charged separately. (Shipping fee will be paid on the spot on the day of the exhibition.)
- No one under the age of 18 may participate in the event alone. Please have a person with parental authority accompany you.
- Local correspondence will be in Japanese.

Cancellation Fee
In the event that a customer cancels the contract after the contract has been concluded, a cancellation fee will be charged at the following rate per customer on the trip price. In the case of cancellation of the contract by some of the guests in the group, the difference in the number of guests will be charged to each of the guests.
Please contact us during business hours in case of cancellation or reduction in the number of participants. (After business hours, the cancellation will be processed the next day.)
In the event of a refund due to cancellation or reduction in the number of passengers, the refund will be made after deducting the prescribed cancellation fee rate, but the customer will be responsible for any bank transfer charges related to the refund.
